MeetMr. Nguyen

Mr. Nguyen is proud to have the opportunity to prepare students to be College, Career, and Life Ready! He may be new to West Ottawa Virtual Academy, but as an alumni, he is no rookie to WOPS and the greater West Michigan area. Mr. Nguyen received a B.A. in Secondary Education from Hope College. From there he returned to area schools as a math teacher. He went on to complete a M.A. in Educational Leadership from Grand Valley State University which afforded him the honor to serve students as the Director of Virtual Tech High School and then later fulfilled the role of Assistant Principal at Holland High and most recently, Grandville High School. 

Mr. Nguyen lives in Holland with his wife, Sarah. In their free time, they enjoy activities that involve being outdoors. He also enjoys cooking and sharing meals, time with family and friends, and a good conversation. As an avid fisherman, he seeks to share this sport with others. 

Mr. Nguyen is thrilled to return home to his alma mater as a school leader and is excited to serve the students at West Ottawa Virtual Academy.
